A holiday feeling at breakfast

The recipe: Mango & oat bowl with exotic fruit compote

Ingredients for the bowl:

  • 1 mango, pitted and peeled
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 300ml oat milk
  • 1 unwaxed lime, including juice and zest
  • 60g thin-rolled oats
  • 1 large pinch cinnamon
  • 1 large pinch turmeric
  • 1 tbsp. honey

Place all of the ingredients in the high-performance Novis ProBlender and blend until smooth.

Ingredients for the compote:

  • 1 mango, peeled and diced into 1cm cubes
  • ½ pineapple, skin removed and diced into 1cm cubes
  • 8 passion fruits with the pulp scooped out
  • 80g honey
  • 1 vanilla pod, scraped
  • 1 unwaxed lemon, including juice and zest

Add all of the compote ingredients to a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 8 minutes.

Serve the mango and oat mixture in a bowl and sweeten with a tablespoon of the exotic fruit compote.
